Marbles

Acrylic on canvas

24” x 30”

I enjoy the harmony of these marbles together, visually and conceptually. They blend together beautifully while remain separate, which could be compared to the communities we live in.

Lost

Acrylic, oil on canvas

30" x 40"

Sometimes I am nervous or afraid to approach people I don't know or try new things, and I remain cautious. The maze represents my mental landscape of hesitance, in which I am lost. The yellow and black colors reference street signs, saying "caution," "warning."

Speaking with Eyes

Acrylic on canvas

24" x 30"

This portrait is in keeping with the themes of silence. The compelling eyes of the model in this painting are meant to express what she cannot say and contrast with the gloomy lighting of the piece and her closed lips.
